You will make that walk five times a day. Ten minutes each way is over an hour and a half daily.
A private transfer for the first arrival
Landing at 2am after a long flight is the wrong moment to negotiate with a taxi.

Roughly double the rate for a view you will spend little time in, you will be inside the mosque.

There is excellent, cheap food within five minutes of every hotel in both cities.
